About Us

Originally from Auburn, Maine, Alex is a 2009 graduate of Edward Little High School. After school, Alex began working in the trades alongside his father where he developed a hard work ethic. In 2014, he started working in the electrical field and completed his schooling through an at-home, accredited program called Tenet Electrical School & Maine Electrical Institute. While employed at Regional Electric out of Lewiston, Alex gained valuable experience specializing as a commercial electrician foreman for large scale building projects. Alex eventually earned his Master’s License, and in 2024 after 10 years of working in the electrical field, Cushnoc Electric was born. Alex prides himself on the quality of his work, reasonable job rates, and communication with his customers.

Alex is the husband of Emily Dumond and they share two children and a Golden Retriever. In addition to managing all aspects of his business, Alex supports his wife’s business as an employee of Plummer Funeral Home in Augusta and Windsor. Alex is a proud Bruins fan and enjoys hunting, skiing during the winter months and spending time at camp on Wyman Lake during the summer months.
